Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This is a template policy provided for a demonstration website. Before publishing it for a real business, have it reviewed by a UAE-qualified lawyer — the UAE's Executive Regulations under the PDPL are still being finalized, and sector-specific rules (e.g. free zones such as DIFC or ADGM) may apply differently to your business.

1. Who this policy covers and the law that applies

This policy explains what information Sky Homes Dubai ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use this website or submit a property requirement, how we use it, and who we share it with. We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data ("PDPL"), supervised by the UAE Data Office. Sky Homes Dubai operates onshore Dubai and is not registered in the DIFC or ADGM free zones, which maintain their own separate data protection regimes.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details: full name, mobile number, email address.
  • Requirement details: property type, configuration, preferred community and landmark, budget range, purchase timeline, purpose (self-use or investment), and any additional notes you provide.
  • Communication preferences, such as your preferred time to be contacted.
  • Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, collected automatically for site functionality and analytics (see our cookie policy).

3. Our lawful basis and how we use your information

Under the PDPL, consent is our primary lawful basis for processing your data. By ticking the consent box on our requirement form, you give us clear, informed consent to:

  • Match your requirement with relevant, RERA-verified developers and agents in our network.
  • Have a consultant contact you by phone, WhatsApp, email, or SMS regarding your enquiry.
  • Improve our matching process and website experience.
  • Send you updates about your enquiry status, unless you opt out.

You may withdraw your consent at any time — see section 6 below.

4. Who we share it with

We share your requirement details with the specific RERA-registered developer or agent partner matched to your enquiry — never with our full partner network at once, and never sold to unrelated third parties or data brokers. Where we transfer data outside the UAE (for example, to a cloud service provider), we do so only where the destination offers an adequate level of protection or under appropriate contractual safeguards, as required by the PDPL.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your enquiry details for as long as needed to complete your property search, and for a limited period afterward for service and legal record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights under the PDPL

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Restriction & objection — ask us to limit processing, or object to processing for direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We aim to respond within a reasonable time as required under the PDPL.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, in line with PDPL security obligations. No online system is completely secure, and we encourage you to avoid sharing sensitive financial details (such as bank account or card numbers) through this website.

8. Cookies

We use cookies to keep the site functional, remember your preferences, and understand aggregate usage, with a consent banner on first visit as required under the PDPL. Full detail is in our cookie policy. We do not use cookies to sell your data to advertisers.

9. Data breach notification

In the event of a personal data breach likely to pose a risk to your rights, we will notify the UAE Data Office and affected individuals as required under the PDPL.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.

11. Contact us

Questions about this policy, or requests to exercise your data rights, can be sent to [email protected] or to the address listed on our Contact us page.
